Have you dreamed of international travel, but don't want to be surrounded by people drinking?

If so, this trip is perfect for you!

Maybe you've never drank.

Maybe you are in recovery.

Maybe you don't drink for religious reasons.

Maybe you just enjoy not drinking while traveling.

Whatever the reason, this trip will be one to celebrate sobriety and overall well-being with a group of like-minded women.

We will explore the history of Athens, experience the rich culture of Naxos, and soak in the beauty of Santorini. We will eat delicious Greek cuisine, work out on stunning beaches, hike to beautiful viewpoints and enjoy each other's company. There will be down time to allow solo exploration, shopping, and optional activities.

Hey Sober Sisters! Welcome to Greece.

Upon arrival to Athens, you will be picked up by a private driver and transported to our hotel. You will have free time to get settled in, rest, or explore before we meet for dinner and introductions. After our meet and greet, we will enjoy a dinner theater experience.

*Optional AA Meeting from 1pm-2pm. Let us know if you are interested in attending.

Thursday, September 25, 2025

Let’s explore some history!

After enjoying a nice breakfast on the rooftop of our hotel, we are off to explore Acropolis. We will have a guided tour of Acropolis to learn all about the ancient fortress. Our tour also includes a trip to the Museum.

You will have some free time to do some additional exploring, shopping, or resting.

Suggested optional activities:

- Visit Melissinos Art - The Poet Sandal Maker for a pair of custom-made Greek leather sandals

- Stroll through the neighborhood of Plaka

- Visit the Temple of the Olympian Zeus

In the evening, we will take a trip to Lycabettus Hill – we will ride the cable car up to the highest point in the center of Athens. There we will enjoy the view, visit the Church of Agios Georgios, and enjoy a delicious meal together.

The journey continues to Naxos

Friday, September 26, 2025

We will start the day by enjoying breakfast on the rooftop and then jump on a ferry to Naxos.

Upon arrival in Naxos, you will have an afternoon of free time to enjoy lunch, a trip to the beach, lounging at the pool, or exploring Naxos.

Suggested optional activities:

- Enjoy a delicious Greek lunch at Taverna

- Visit Naxos Kastro, the old Venetian Fortress

In the evening, we will watch the sunset at Portara, also known as “Apollo’s Gate.” This huge marble gate is the only remaining part of Apollo’s unfinished temple dating back to 530 BC. As we watch the sunset over the Aegean Sea, you will understand why this spot is known for being “one of the most enchanting sunsets in Greece.”

After seeing the sunset at Portora, we will enjoy a family style meal together at an authentic Greek restaurant.

A day of fun in Naxos

Saturday, September 27, 2025

Wake up with excitement, because today is all about fun!

After enjoying a yummy breakfast, we will head out on a guided hike.

Upon returning from the hike, you will have free time to participate in some optional activities such as: horseback riding, ATV rentals, beach/pool lounging or exploring the Island of Naxos.

Optional evening activity and dinner: a traditional meal with plate smashing, music, and dancing.

Sunday, September 28, 2025

We will start our morning off with another delicious breakfast and then we are off to the beach for some yoga.

You will have another afternoon of free time, where you may choose to stay at the beach to soak up the sun, ride ATVS, or participate in a marble carving class.

In the evening, we will enjoy a Greek cooking class together as a group. The best part? We will get to enjoy our masterpiece of a meal once we are done cooking.

One last day of our epic adventure

Tuesday, September 30, 2025

We will wake up early for a sunrise hike and then enjoy breakfast with one another.

After everyone has enjoyed their morning activities, we are setting sail to explore Nea Kameni, a volcanic island at the center of Caldera. There we will be able to walk up to the active volcano and enjoy taking a dip in the healing waters of the hot springs.

As our last night in Greece comes to a close, we will enjoy a farewell dinner together.

Wednesday, October 1, 2025

Hopefully it is less of a goodbye and more of a "See you Later."

We will enjoy one last breakfast together before checking out of our hotel.

Transportation to the Santorini airport will be provided for everyone flying out. You can book your flights home directly from Santorini or you may choose to fly back to Athens before heading home.

Yes, absolutely! The more the merrier. If you have a travel partner that would like to experience Malawi with us, send an email to info@justgoadventures.com and provide the names and emails of both parties. You both will be sent a “bring a friend” discount code to use at booking. You can also request to be in a room together on the trip; otherwise, room assignments are made closer to the trip date.

The trip price is based on double occupancy rooms. Roommates will be assigned closer to the trip date. You will have a chance to “virtually” meet the other travels on our Greece Facebook group page and through a meet and greet zoom call before the trip. There is a possibility of single room availability, but single room spots will come with an additional charge. If you prefer to upgrade to a private room, please make this request as soon as possible.

The basic requirement is that you are a sober woman 21 years old or older. You should value sobriety and physical exercise. We will not be sipping cocktails by the pool or partying all hours of the night. We will be experiencing the magic of Greece with a sound mind, body, and spirit. This trip includes hikes, yoga on the beach, and fitness sessions. We will have early mornings and
busy days. We will walk A LOT and experience A LOT.
